This place was designed to be a 'place to express my thoughts and ideas as well as to provide credible sources of news and information regarding the scientific and academic community in an effort to combat ignorance and superstition.'

The original text reads "With the growing number of scientifically illiterate and superstitious arguments pervading the public sphere of discourse and discussion, the need for a scientific education grows ever more important and necessary. This site intends to disseminate information to arm a society in desperate need of the critical thinking tools necessary to combatting pseudo-science, superstition and wishful-thinking.

Begun in January of 2016, this site is a work in progress. It is intended to promote the Sciences, Secular, Liberal, Progressive and Humanistic ideas, as well as the universal freedoms necessary to the propagation of philosophical, logical and rational discourse, discussion and debate that are necessary for growth, progress and advancement of reason.

Being well informed and the practice of critical thinking allows for an educated and mature society capable of making educated decisions, hypothesizing, theorizing and research. It arms us, empowers us and improves us as individuals and as a civilized society."

However, in since May of 2018, I have decided to just turn this into a blog of sorts and have removed all the pages that were previously dedicated to updates, news and the various videos for lectures, documentaries and debates about various intellectual topics I have a profound interest in.

I hope, perhaps, to return these pages some time in the future. But for now, it's just a blog where I talk about things that tend to be interesting at certain points in my life. I hope you enjoy reading them.
